Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information PreBuild collects through this website, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how you can access or delete it.

PreBuild is operated by CentriWeb, a business registered in New Zealand. We handle personal information under the Privacy Act 2020 (NZ) and its Information Privacy Principles.

Most of the people who use this site are in Australia. Where we collect personal information from someone in Australia, we also handle it in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Whichever gives you the stronger protection is the one we apply.

1. What we collect

Information you give us

We collect personal information when you choose to give it to us. There are three places on this site where that happens.

The consult and booking forms are provided by GoHighLevel and are embedded on this site. Information you enter into them is submitted directly to GoHighLevel on our behalf.

Information collected automatically

• Server logs. Our hosting provider records your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of the request.
• Meta Pixel. We use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure our advertising. It records that you visited this site, and whether you submitted the calculator, opened the consult form or opened the booking form. It sets cookies and may allow Meta to recognise you if you have a Facebook or Instagram account. We do not send your name, email address or phone number to Meta. The only additional detail sent is whether you indicated you already charge for preliminary work, which does not identify you.
• Local storage. If you submit the calculator while your connection is down, your submission is stored in your own browser and sent when the connection recovers. It is deleted from your browser as soon as it is delivered.
• Fonts. Typefaces load from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address as part of that request.

We do not use cookies to track you across other websites beyond the Meta Pixel described above. We do not collect sensitive information (such as health, racial or financial account details), and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

2. Why we collect it

• To send you the report or material you asked for.
• To contact you about your enquiry, including by email, phone or SMS.
• To assess whether PreBuild is a fit for your business, and to prepare for a call with you.
• To improve this website and the material we publish.
• To measure and improve our advertising.

If you give us your phone number, you are consenting to us contacting you on it about your enquiry. You can ask us to stop at any time.

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers we use to run the business:

Some of these providers store information overseas, mainly in the United States, and our own server is hosted outside New Zealand. By submitting your information you consent to that disclosure. We take reasonable steps to use providers that are required to protect your information to a comparable standard, but overseas recipients may not be subject to New Zealand or Australian privacy law.

We may also disclose information where we are required to by law.

4. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry records for as long as we may reasonably need them for the purposes above, and then delete or de-identify them. If you ask us to delete your information, we will do so unless we are required by law to keep it.

5. Security

This site is served over HTTPS and information you submit is encrypted in transit. We restrict access to our customer records to people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access.

6. Accessing, correcting or deleting your information

You can ask us to:

• tell you what personal information we hold about you,
• correct anything that is wrong,
• delete your information, or
• stop contacting you.

Email info@prebuildsystems.com and we will respond within 20 working days. There is no charge. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

7. Opting out of advertising tracking

You can control how Meta uses your information for advertising through your Facebook ad preferences. You can also block cookies in your browser settings, or use a browser extension that blocks tracking scripts. Blocking them will not affect your ability to use this site.

8. Complaints

If you think we have mishandled your personal information, email info@prebuildsystems.com and we will investigate and respond to you.

If you are not satisfied with our response:

• In New Zealand, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz or on 0800 803 909.
• In Australia, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be noted here.
